Fred Perry
In 1952, triple Wimbledon champion Fred Perry founded the brand, designing his first pique shirt the same year. That shirt, the shirt, would transcend sportswear to streetwear on the backs of generation after generation of British youth subcultures. Today, Fred Perry is a global community, all inspired by the Laurel Wreath and what it represents.

Fred Perry Singapore
In 2007, the first Fred Perry Authentic Shop opened at Cineleisure Orchard. Another two Fred Perry Authentic Shops opened within Singapore’s premier shopping district at ION Orchard and Takashimaya in 2009.
In 2017, following the success of the first two shops the Fred Perry Authentic Shop opened at Bugis Junction and subsequently with the latest opening at Singapore’s world-class, multi-dimensional lifestyle mall – Jewel Chang Airport in 2019.
The first Fred Perry Laurel Wreath Collection Shop out of Europe set up its Asia flagship in Singapore in 2007. Since 2016, the Fred Perry Laurel Wreath Collection Shop has evolved out of its standalone shop concept and into pop-up shops across the region.

Fred Perry Malaysia
The first two Fred Perry standalone Authentic Shops are strategically located within the heart of town at Kuala Lumpur’s premier shopping malls – Suria KLCC and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur since 2010 and 2012 respectively. Fred Perry expanded into a new state in Malaysia, opening its 3rd stand-alone shop in Penang’s shopping destination, Gurney Paragon Mall in 2014. That same year, Fred Perry celebrated the opening of its fourth Authentic Shop at Malaysia’s largest retail destination – 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
Following the success in 2022, the fifth Fred Perry Authentic Shop opens at Pavilion Bukit Jalil in April with a fresh look, along with a reopening of The Gardens Mall outlet in September making it the sixth edition. The latest expansion opened in March 2023 at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, which marked the seventh Fred Perry Authentic Shop in Malaysia.

Fred Perry Indonesia
The first standalone Authentic Shop is situated within Jakarta’s premier shopping mall, Plaza Indonesia. In 2014, Fred Perry celebrated double shop openings at the upscale Plaza Senayan and the largest integrated mixed-use development in South Jakarta at Kota Kasablanka.
Amnesty Pte Ltd is the sole distributor for the brand in Indonesia and is working alongside a local partner in co-managing the brand.

Fred Perry Subculture Live
Since 2006, Amnesty has held many successful events across the region – namely in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia as well as Vietnam. This has created many good memories for our event-goers and built a strong brand presence, that we believe has strengthened the brand throughout the region over the years.
Subculture Live is Fred Perry's music initiative - bringing you the brightest young talent on the music scene, alongside the best of British music artists that have a long standing relationship with the brand. Subculture Live was launched in September 2005 by the legendary Paul Weller at The 100 Club - the oldest independent music venue in Britain.
Subculture Live creates unconventional gig experiences that promote the brightest, inspiring music local talents in the city with a union of live music, spectacular visuals and good company.
In 2010, Subculture Live in Singapore has been held at alternative venues including the iconic Tanjong Pagar Railway Station to an abandoned basketball court in Kay Siang Rd to a futsal court under Thomson Flyover and with its most recent edition at the iconic heritage site, Haw Par Villa in 2023.
Bands who have performed at previous Subculture Live gigs in Singapore since 2010 include Tiramisu, Caracal, Charlie Lim, Plainsunset, Cheating Sons, The Pinholes, I Am David Sparkle, MONSTER CAT, These Brittle Bones and many more.
